FAIRVIEW CHEESE AND WINE ESTATE

Fairview is situated on the Agter Paarl pad towards the back of Paarl. This farm dates back to the 17th century and is visited by many for it's award winning wine and assorted goat's milk cheeses.

The farm is divided into the Shop and Deli, Wine tasting rooms and the Goatshed restaurant. Stock up on assorted cheeses, spices, fresh breads and chocolates at the Shop and Deli. Or partake in the cheese tasting bar. The wine tasting rooms are the most popular where at R25 per person you can enjoy assorted wine and cheese tastings. The restuarant serves the most delicious Mediterranean type of foods. Pair your dish with a great glass of wine and you will be in bliss! I had the smoked trout quiche with salad and I was in 7th heaven.

The garden and vineyard views are stunning. But my all time favourite is the beautiful and famous white goat that climbs the goat tower. Too cute!
This is a great place for a romantic date, celebration with friends or to spend the day with your family.

While I was there I found this really cute goats milk lipbalm in vanilla called Udder Indulgence in the shop and deli store. How cute is that? This lipbalm smells so divine. It is really creamy and moistuirising on your lips. Look out for it when you take a trip to Fairview.

  7. A few years ago I was at The Olive Festival at the Riebeeck Kasteel in Cape Town, they also had this cute olive oil lip balm that basically melted on my lips, leaving it plump and pampered... Can only imagine what the goat's milk lip balm would feel like... Beautiful review of our beautiful country! xoxo :)

    1. Hi Catriona, you don't have to book you can just arrive and choose which wine and cheese tastings you want to do on arrival. There are tables with assorted wines and cheeses. The scenic drive to the farm is also lovely.
