The Old Biscuit Mill
373 ALBERT ROAD
WOODSTOCK

SATURDAY 9:00 - 14:00

One of the things I did this holiday was visit the Old Biscuit Mill market in Woodstock, Cape Town. I have heard so many great reviews about it and just had to check it out for myself.

The industrial building is quite a contrast to the jolly festivities taking place in and around it. What used to be a biscuit factory is now home to many cafe's, restaurants, art's and crafts shops, clothing stores and many more interesting markets.

In and outside the Biscuit Mill. Me checking out the products.

I really enjoyed all the different art's and crafts stores. Being a lover of quirky things I was in my element. I found some amazing designs and products from jewelry to scarves to pottery. There are so many beautiful vintage furniture stores as well. Oh, and I just have to mention the chocolate factory. All I can say is yummy!

The food market is filled with fresh produce from delicious baked treats, to warm oven baked pizza's, and of cause a beer and wine court yard that would make any man jump for glee.

Some of the stores at the market with some amazing products on sale. In the middle is a beautiful polka dot scarf, Dunk baked biscuits and chocolates from the chocolate factory that I bought.

I really enjoyed the festive atmosphere. Young and old come to  relax and enjoy the summer market. I was also surprised to see the number of foreigners that visit the market as well. People from all nationalities come to enjoy the vibey area.

*Ladies all I can say is if you are looking for a potentially good looking husband this is the place to be!*
